Call for Application
The summer school is suitable for PhD students who are interested to extend their knowledge of systems engineering.
PhD students are invited to participate in the following ways:

Contribute your perspective by giving a presentation on your PhD topic

Learn about industrial requirements and implementation
-
Discuss and exchange ideas with different disciplines
Interested students are invited to write a short outline which must contain:
Assuming a 4 or 5 year project duration the outline should focus on:

Year 1: the field of research, area of contribution and gaps in the existing research
-
Year 2: the topic, problem statement, research questions and possibly the research approach
-
Year 3: research approach and possibly preliminary results
-
Year 4 or later: results of the research
-
Please note: The focuses above are just guidelines and should be adapted to the specific characteristics of each project.

Based on these written contributions the final particitpants will be selected.
The notifications well be send out around 3 February 2012.
The maximum number of participants is 12.
The course language will be English.
Participants receive 3 ECTS points.
